The altitude does its job: leaves grown in less sun produce a more balanced flavor. This pu-erh has plenty of body, but no harshness. It's delicate, with a pleasant sweetness and a silky texture. Everything is neat, clean, and not overly so.
Fermentation is classic, slow, and takes several years. The resulting tea is thick, with a deep flavor that unfolds with each steeping. You can brew it for a long time, and it will taste new each time.
An excellent option if you want to do more than just “drink tea,” but rather get immersed in the process .
